One of my bucket rides is to go from my house to my parents. This was just as good since I got to hang out with Jack. It also showed me what the route was like through downtown and the zoo.
The hill is a nasty one and I’ll definitely go south to avoid it next time even though it’s a longer route.
The early 10% grade hills sapped me of any energy for the smaller but longer hills around the zoo area. I had to walk most of the hills while Jack turned on beast mode and pushed through it.
