I’m so happy for my cousin Eileen who married her best friend last weekend. Their wedding was wonderfully personalized with video game nods in the processional music, gifts, and table names.
I’m also grateful that my uncle recovered from cancer chemotherapy so he could walk my cousin down the aisle. Eileen’s step-father gave a humorous and insightful officiant speech that underscored the strength of Eileen and Devon’s bond: friendship.
