I experimented with my new camera and left the white balance on tungsten. The photos looked more interesting than auto white balance, so I created a set of photos with the blue tint.

My LEGO WALL-E
I was inspired after watching A LEGO Brickumentary and WALL-E.
Fall Photo Portraits with Friends
We always enjoy a session with new parents. We photographed Tim and Trina’s wedding six years ago and we were blessed to photograph their growing family.
We met the Penny family through our mutual friend Leah Brandis. They have an unique aesthetic to their portrait sessions that provide us an opportunity to explore new areas of Portland.
We were connected with the Stan family for our first daughters through the Bradley birth course. We’ve photographed their family over the years and it’s always a fun reunion to see their daughters grow up.
Russell and Shannon first started dating when we were newlyweds. Over the years, we have been witnesses to their wedding, for their daughter, and now, their latest addition to their family.

Lamont and Maria
Lamont and I work in the same department at Vernier, but I didn’t know him until we sat beside each other at a Blazer game. Not long after, I saw him in passing at church, and we began chatting here and there.
I learned that he had been with his girlfriend for several years and he had two beautiful little daughters near the same age as my own daughters. I remember praying that he would marry his girlfriend someday. Not only was that prayer answered several years later, Jenni and I were invited to be their wedding photographers.
We couldn’t be happier for the both of them.

Autumn Colors
While I miss the warmth of summer, the fall colors has given us amazing portrait backgrounds.
Sisters at Sunset
This is one of my favorite photos of our girls. I love the innocence of their hand holding, Kadie intrigued by the dust kicked up, and the sunset light bringing out the debri in the air.
Expressive and Impressive
Two things make me smile about this collage. First and most obvious, I enjoy the demonstration of Kadie’s range of expressions. Second, I’m impressed by Jenni’s photographic skills.
