My dad has volunteered at the Lan Su Chinese Garden for many years during his retirement. He loves sharing Chinese art with visitors in the form of calligraphy, painting, and music.
Lan Su hosted a special event, Yaji or a literati gathering, to showcase local artists and my dad painted and wrote calligraphy with a brush pen. I don’t visit the garden often but I’m always enchanted by its beauty and serenity whenever I do.
