I’ve put this off for too long and we made fun progress through the 147 miniatures we own for Marvel United. For this batch, I worked on finishing the Guardians of the Galaxy characters, but also anti-heroes and villains for gameplay variety.
Most the miniatures were painted by me, but some were painted by other family members and friends. Of note, Squirrel Girl is painted by Violet, which I enjoyed how she painted the eyes and gave subtle shading to her cheeks. Bruce and Henry helped out too with Deathlok, Nova, Ghost Rider, and Lizard.
I got to introduce Marvel United to my brother for my birthday as well as play with our neighbors during a beach trip. I also got to show it off to my cousins in November. It’s an easy game to teach and it’s fun that we’re cooperatively working together.

I look forward to all of the miniatures we’ll paint this year and saving the world against Marvel’s gallery of villains. Though I promised not to buy more miniatures until we finished what we have, I couldn’t resist a deal to pick up the Spider-Geddon expansion.
