It is exciting to look back at the progress we’ve made on our Marvel United miniatures since the third season arrived. Our collection includes over 130 characters and we’ve painted 42 (30%) to date and painted 18 since last fall.
We received our season 3 Marvel United Kickstarter package in late July. I waited for perfect conditions before I could prime the miniatures, but it also encouraged me to finish the season 1 core box we got a duplicate of last June (with the Spider-Man box).
Our latest addition to our Marvel United collection, just in time for the recent Spider-Man animated film.
Jenni and I enjoyed the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie and naturally wanted to add these fun heroes to Marvel United. But the retail set didn’t include Gamora, so I went to eBay to find someone who owned the kickstarter edition that included Gamora.
A board game that united multiple interests: board games, Marvel, cute miniatures, art, and teamwork. I never imagined this board game subgenre would be so much fun.
The idea was to bring together a group of of remarkable people to see if they could become something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could.
