After our Saturday morning chores, we made a trip to see my parents for Mother’s Day. I hadn’t seen them since sometime in February. We had a brief socially-distanced visit with masks and a family photo before stopping by Nicholas’ Restaurant to pick up food for the weekend.
Upon returning home, I set up our new screen shelter from REI to escape our house that was warming up from the weather. I wanted to test how to set it up and we enjoyed the change of view so much that we spent the afternoon and evening there for dinner, Dole<sup>®</sup> Whip, and Apples to Apples.
On the actual Mother’s Day, Jenni and the kids enjoyed the day with bon bons, Secret Life of Pets 2, and a short visit from our friends.
